One side shows the complete world map, the other side has an extensive index that covers cities, countries, national capitals, state or provincial name, state or provincial capital, dependencies, deserts, headlands, islands and island groups, mountains and mountain ranges, peninsulas, regions, oceans and seas, sounds, straits, bays, ice shelves, reefs, lakes, reservoirs and rivers. The map also shows world time zones.
